Rolling Chassis Restoration
We offer complete ground-up restoration of Ford Model A rolling chassis, including fully rebuilt engines and transmissions.
Each chassis is carefully restored, reconditioned, and upgraded to a high standard, ensuring reliability, performance, and authenticity. Every component is inspected and rebuilt where required, resulting in a fully engineered platform ready for use in restoration projects, speedster builds, or historic vehicles.
Engine & Transmission
The engine is fully rebuilt and upgraded, typically including:
• Rebore to +0.125"
• Block pressure tested
• Block face and base skimmed
• Main bearing caps machined
• New pistons and rings
• New connecting rods
• Crankshaft ground and machined to accept shell bearings
• Main bearings converted to shell bearings
• New valves, springs and guides
• New water pump
• Rebuilt distributor
• New clutch
The gearbox is fully inspected and rebuilt, with new bearings fitted where required.
Chassis, Axles & Brakes
• Front and rear axles fully rebuilt
• Brake system rebuilt with new shoes and drums
• Complete chassis strip-down
• Shot blasted and powder coated in the colour of your choice
• New bearings, seals and gaskets fitted throughout
