Speedster Builds
Bespoke Vintage Performance Cars
We design and build bespoke vintage speedsters, combining restored historic chassis with carefully engineered mechanical systems and handcrafted bodywork.
Each project is built from the ground up, transforming original components into lightweight, performance-focused vehicles inspired by early motorsport.
The Concept
A speedster is a stripped-back, driver-focused vehicle, designed to deliver a raw and engaging driving experience while remaining true to the engineering principles of its era.
Our builds begin with original chassis and mechanical components, sourced from the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States. These are then fully restored, reengineered, and reimagined to create vehicles that are both authentic and highly usable.
Our Approach
Every build is carried out with a balance of:
• historical authenticity
• mechanical reliability
• performance enhancement
• visual proportion and design
We focus not only on how the vehicle performs, but how it looks, feels, and functions as a complete piece.
Our Speedster Builds
We specialise in three distinct types of speedster builds, each with its own character and engineering approach. Bespoke Builds
Model A Ford Speedsters
Lightweight, performance-focused builds based on original Ford Model A rolling chassis. These vehicles combine full chassis restoration with bespoke aluminium or woodtail bodywork, resulting in highly usable cars suited to racing, touring, and historic motoring events.

American La France Speedsters
Large-capacity speedsters created from historic American fire trucks, typically powered by 14.5-litre 6-cylinder engines. These builds retain the scale and presence of the original vehicles while transforming them into powerful, reliable touring cars with exceptional character.

Bare Chassis Beach Racers
Stripped-back, bodyless machines designed for beach racing and sprint events. These builds focus on lightweight construction, structural engineering, and performance, creating raw and highly engaging vehicles where every mechanical detail is exposed.
