Model A Engine Rebuild Specification
Our rebuilt Ford Model A engines are fully reconditioned and upgraded to improve durability and performance.
Each rebuild typically includes:
• Rebore to +0.125" (3.175mm)
• Block pressure tested
• Block face skimmed
• New pistons and piston rings
• New connecting rods with shell bearings
• Crankshaft ground and machined to accept shell bearings
• Main bearings converted to shell bearings
• New valves, springs and guides
• High-compression cylinder head
• Rebuilt oil pump
• Aluminium timing gear for improved performance
• Lightened flywheel
• Finished in original Ford green
